Account Director

Your job

  • You take the lead in overseeing strategic marketing projects, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
  • You are responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of account managers and executives, providing them with the tools and direction they need to deliver exceptional results.
  • You take full ownership of client portfolios, ensuring their long-term growth, satisfaction, and overall business success.
  • You can effortlessly manage high-stakes projects, juggle multiple high-level accounts, and prioritize tasks without losing sight of key deliverables.
  • You are not only a natural planner but also a strategic thinker who can anticipate industry trends and proactively offer insights to both clients and your team.
  • Your commercial acumen is sharp, and you feel equally comfortable navigating complex B2B and B2C environments.
  • You provide top-tier service while maintaining profitability and long-term partnerships with key clients.
  • You take the lead in contract negotiations and are skilled in identifying opportunities for upselling and expanding client relationships.
  • You ensure the team’s briefings are not just on time and structured, but also innovative and tailored to exceed client expectations.

Your profile

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a senior account management or similar role, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.
  • You are a strategic and analytical thinker who excels in translating client objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
  • You are an influential communicator, fluent in Dutch and with excellent knowledge of English and/or French.
  • You are a natural leader and networker, with an ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments, tackling unforeseen challenges with ease and providing clear direction to your team under pressure.
  • You can maintain a long-term vision while ensuring all tactical executions are flawless and delivered on time.
  • Your ability to maintain an overview of all projects ensures nothing falls through the cracks, and you are adept at managing stress in high-pressure situations.
  • You are adaptable and capable of driving innovative solutions while maintaining client satisfaction and company profitability.
